The Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) held the 28th meeting for the 3rd board of directors yesterday chaired by CHEN Dong Zheng, the Director General and Secretary of Party Committee of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. CME Group, the world’s largest and most diverse derivatives exchange, today announced that Bryan Durkin, Anthony George Gero, William Giannone, William Purpura, and Joseph Raia, have been named members of the COMEX Governors Committee, which is the guiding body for gold, silver, copper and aluminum futures and options traded at CME Group. The COMEX Governors Committee originally operated as the executive board to the COMEX.

The new Corporate Sustainability Index (ISE), which comprises shares issued by companies recognized for their high level of commitment to sustainability and social responsibility, will enter into effect on December 1 st , 2008. The rebalance of the index includes assets of Celesc, Duratex, Odontoprev, TIM, Telemar, and Unibanco, while assets from Aracruz, CCR Rodovias, Copel, Iochpe-Maxion, Petrobras, and WEG have been excluded from the index.
