IntercontinentalExchange(R), Inc. (NYSE: ICE), a leading operator of regulated global exchanges and over-the-counter (OTC) markets, today reported that consolidated revenues in the first quarter rose to a record $232 million, a 12% increase over first quarter 2008 revenues of $207 million. Consolidated net income for the first quarter of 2009 was $72 million, a 22% decrease compared to $92 million for the prior first quarter. Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited (HKFE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), has announced that with effect from the commencement of trading on Thursday, 7 May 2009, the minimum margins to be collected by an Exchange Participant from its clients in respect of their dealings in the following futures contract will be as outlined in the table below. The adjustments are based on the clearing company's normal procedures and standard margining methodology.
