TMX Group To Take 19.9 Per Cent Stake In EDX London

London Stock Exchange Group and TMX Group Inc. (TMX) today cemented their recently announced strategic partnership, with TMX agreeing to take a 19.9 per cent stake in EDX London Limited, the London Stock Exchange’s equity derivatives business.

NASDAQ OMX Announces First Quarter 2009 Results - Operating Income Increases 25% To $166 Million ($133 Million In Q108)

The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. ("NASDAQ OMX(r)") (Nasdaq:NDAQ) today reported net income of $94 million, or $0.44 per diluted share, for the first quarter of 2009 compared with net income of $121 million, or $0.69 per diluted share, in the first quarter of 2008, and with net income of $35 million, or $0.17 per diluted share, in the fourth quarter of 2008.

Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited (HKFE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), has announced that with effect from the commencement of trading on Monday, 11 May 2009, the minimum margins to be collected by an Exchange Participant from its clients in respect of their dealings in the following futures contract will be as outlined in the table below. The adjustments are based on the clearing company's normal procedures and standard margining method

Lyxor AM To List Five ETFs On SGX, Expanding Coverage Beyond Asia

Lyxor International Asset Management (Lyxor AM), a wholly owned subsidiary of Société Générale, and Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX) today announced that Lyxor AM will list five new exchange-traded funds (ETFs) on SGX on 12 May 2009. Four of these ETFs will cover indices that track markets outside Asia and the United States, for the first time on SGX.

This year’s Global ETF Awards in New York saw Deutsche Börse receive awards in the following categories for the fifth consecutive time: “Exchange with the largest number of ETF listed products Europe”, “Most Proactive exchange for ETFs Europe” and “Largest exchange for ETFs Europe (by turnover)”. Deutsche Börse also received the award as “Most innovative ETF Index provider Europe” for the second time in a row.
