Osaka Securities Exchange: Revisions Of Futures And Options Trading Rules With Introduction Of New Derivatives Trading System

OSE is in process of preparing for the introduction of a new derivatives trading system equipped with the standard trading functions and the highest level of order processing performance in the world, from the viewpoint of further improving the international competitiveness of the OSE markets. OSE will revise the futures and options trading rules as below with the launch of the system in order to increase liquidity of the OSE markets and improve the convenience for investors.

FINRA Bars AGSI Broker For Misappropriating $90,000 Inheritance From Two Sisters

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) announced today that it has barred Richard L. Wood, a Miamisburg, Ohio, broker, from the securities industry for stealing a $90,000 inheritance two sisters received from a deceased aunt and using it for his own purposes.

Over the week of July 27 – July 31, 2009, the RTS Index went up by 0.48% to reach 1,017.47 points (1,012.62 points as of July 24, 2009). Most of the positive impact on the Index dynamics was related to the rising prices for Sberbank ordinary shares (SBER) (plus 4.01 points), ordinary shares of OJSC Uralkali (URKA) (plus 2.76 points) and ordinary shares of Tatneft (TATN) (plus 2.58 points).
