Clearstream’s Activity Figures For October 2009

In October 2009, the value of assets under custody held on behalf of customers registered an increase for the eight consecutive month and stood at €10.6 trillion. It is also, the first time in 2009 that the value of assets under custody reaches the same level as the same month a year ago October 2008 (€10.6 trillion). MGEX Shatters Daily Electronic Trading Volume Record

MGEX (Exchange) today announced a new electronic trading volume record of 18,592 contracts. The number marks a 67 percent increase over the previous record of 11,146 set June 3, 2009. Trading of Hard Red Spring Wheat (HRSW) futures totaled 18,563 contracts while 29 Soft Red Winter Wheat Index (SRWI) futures contracts traded on the day.

Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Monday, November 9, 2009: The shares of Cadan Resources Corporation (TSXVN:CNF) will trade on a consolidated basis following a 1-for-5 consolidation. The new CUSIP number will be 12721D 20 3 and the new ticker symbol will be CXD.

The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) today announced that a federal court entered default judgment orders against defendants Robin States (States) and his wife, Bernadette Bowden (Bowden), both of Nova Scotia, Canada, and relief defendant Paul States, of British Columbia, Canada, in a CFTC action charging the defendants with fraudulent solicitation and misappropriation in connection with the operation of commodity pool known as Infinity Online Investors
Chief Litigation Counsel Luis R. Mejia Leaving SEC
