Shanghai Stock Exchange Announcement Re New Trading System

Under the guidance of the China Securities Regulatory Commission and through the joint efforts of all market participants, the new trading system of the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) smoothly went through with its trial run on December 4 after its successful launch on November 23, 2009. The new system was officially put into operation yesterday, with its predecessor retired after the returning-back period.
