At the international derivatives markets of Eurex, an average daily volume of 9.9 million contracts was traded in September (September 2009: 10.6 million). In September, 103.8 billion euros were traded on Xetra and on the floor at Börse Frankfurt – a slight decrease of 3 percent year-on-year (September 2009: 107.4 billion euros). Of the 103.8 billion euros, 98.3 billion euros were traded on Xetra, a slight decrease of 2 percent year-on-year (September 2009: 100.4 billion euros). 5.5 billion euros were traded on the floor, a decrease by 22 percent (September 2009: 7 billion euros).
