I support their thoughtful recommendations. And, I look forward to the input we will get from all commenters; there are important policy considerations that are being balanced in this rulemaking, and we need to hear your views.
Financial Stability Board Proposes To Establish Regional Consultative Groups

The Financial Stability Board (FSB) announced today arrangements to expand and formalise outreach beyond its membership. Regional consultative groups will be established to bring together financial authorities from FSB member and non-member countries to exchange views on vulnerabilities affecting financial systems and on initiatives to promote financial stability.

NSX Releases October 2010 ETF/ETN Data Reports

National Stock Exchange, Inc. (NSX®) announced that assets in U.S. listed Exchange-Traded Funds (ETF) and Exchange-Traded Notes (ETN) reached a record of $940.4 billion at October 2010 month-end. This is an increase of approximately 33% over October 2009 month-end when assets totaled $707.4 billion. At the end of October 2010, there were 1066 listed products.

The CBOE Futures Exchange, LLC (CFE) announced that Wednesday, November 3, was the busiest trading day in CFE's history. The 46,386 contracts that changed hands today surpassed the previous record of 46,046 contracts traded on May 7, 2010.
