  • CME Group To Close Interest Rate Complex In Coordination With SIFMA

    CME Group, the world's leading and most diverse derivatives marketplace, issued the following notice today.

    CME Group will close its Interest Rate complex, including Treasury, Eurodollar and Fed Funds futures and options on futures markets on the trading floor and on CME Globex at 11:00 a.m. CT today in line with SIFMA's decision to close the cash market.

    The Thailand Futures Exchange PCL (TFEX), under The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) group, revealed that its Sector Index Futures, tracking the movement of five sector indices on SET, were well-received from investors with trading volume of 101 contracts on its first trading day.

  • HKFE Announces Revised Margins For Futures Contracts

    Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited (HKFE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), has announced that with effect from the commencement of trading on Thursday, 1 November 2012, the minimum margins to be collected by an Exchange Participant from its clients in respect of their dealings in the following futures contracts will be as outlined in the table below. The adjustments are based on the clearing company’s normal procedures and standard margining methodology.
