International Securities Exchange And MEB Options Announce Partnership To Introduce Spread Crawler - A New Tool That Provides Insight On Real-Time Spread Orders Via Instant Message

The International Securities Exchange (ISE) today announced that it has partnered with MEB Options to introduce Spread CrawlerTM , a new tool that provides powerful insight through Instant Messaging (IM) into the entire universe of real-time actionable spread orders. This unique product aggregates streaming spread book data from all options exchanges and transmits individual, user-defined spread orders to subscribers via IM. Spread Crawler simplifies the monitoring of live spread book feeds, while displaying spreads that satisfy customized pre-defined parameters.

27% Of Financial Services Practitioners More Optimistic For UK Prospects Than Three Months Ago – CISI Survey

There has been a downturn in confidence in the UK economy, a CISI survey shows. Of more than 320 respondents, 27% said they were more optimistic for the country’s prospects than three months ago. There was increased pessimism among 28% while 45% felt unchanged about the economic outlook.

HKEx: Reappointment Of Chief Executive Approved

As announced by Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (“HKEx”) on 12 September 2012, the Board of Directors of HKEx approved the renewal of the employment contract of Mr Li Xiaojia, Charles (“Mr Li”) as the Chief Executive of HKEx for a further 3-year term from 16 October 2012 to 15 October 2015. Pursuant to Section 70 of the Securities and Futures Ordinance, the Securities and Futures Commission has today given its written approval of the reappointment.
