Alberta Securities Commission: New Advisory Committee To Foster Connection Between Technological Innovation And Securities Regulation

The Alberta Securities Commission (ASC) today announced the establishment of a new advisory committee that aims to ensure securities regulation considers existing and emerging technologies. The Technology and Innovation Advisory Committee will bring together experts and ASC staff to facilitate a better understanding of new technology and its application to the Alberta capital market.

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission and the Center for Risk Management Education and Research (CRMER) at Kansas State University will team up again to host AgCon2024 on April 11-12, 2024 in Overland Park, Kansas. It will be the third Agricultural Commodity Futures Conference jointly hosted by the CFTC and CRMER and the first such conference since 2019.
