Federal Reserve Board And Treasury Department Agree That Term Asset-Backed Securities Loan Facility (TALF) Requires Less Credit Protection As It Winds Down
The Federal Reserve Board on Thursday announced that it agreed with the Treasury Department that it was appropriate to reduce from $4.3 billion to $1.4 billion the credit protection Treasury is providing for the Term Asset-Backed Securities Loan Facility (TALF).

Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority - Finansinspektionen - Proposes Higher Requirements For The Banks’ Liquidity Buffers
Sweden shall act ahead of the EU and introduce quantitative requirements regarding the banks’ liquidity buffers. The aim is to ensure that large banks and credit institutions hold sufficient liquid assets to be able to manage short periods without access to market funding. This is proposed by Finansinspektionen in a new regulation.

Interbolsa Signs ECB T2S Framework Agreement
NYSE Euronext today announces that Interbolsa has signed the European Central Bank’s (ECB) Target2Securities (T2S) Framework Agreement. T2S was initiated in 2006 and has been implemented to integrate and bring further efficiencies to the European securities settlement infrastructure. It will be introduced from 2015.

CFTC Obtains Default Judgment against The Trade Tech Institute, Inc., Technology Trading International, Inc., and Robert Sorchini for Fraudulent Solicitation of Managed Commodity Trading Accounts and Obtains Consent Judgment against Richard Carter as Controlling Person of Both Companies
The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) today announced that the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California entered an order of default judgment and permanent injunction against The Trade Tech Institute, Inc. (Trade Tech), Technology Trading International, Inc. (Tech Trading), and Robert Sorchini (Sorchini), all of Los Angeles, Calif. The same Court previously entered a consent order of permanent injunction against Richard Carter (Carter), also of Los Angeles, Calif.

BM&FBOVESPA: Agreement To Establish CAF Signed By Bodies - Mergers And Acquisitions Committee (CAF) To Operate As A Voluntary Self-Regulatory Organization, Inspired By The UK’s Takeover Panel
BM&FBOVESPA, the Association of Capital Markets Investors (AMEC) and the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance (IBGC) signed an agreementon June 27th for the establishment of the Mergers and Acquisitions Committee (CAF). This is a voluntary self-regulatory organization aimed at assuring the equitable treatment of publicly-traded companies’ shareholders during public tender offers and corporate restructuring.
