MIAX Options - To Continue The Priority Customer Rebate Program Beyond December 31, 2013

The MIAX Regulatory Circular, MIAX RC 2013-82, refers to the continuation of the MIAX Options Exchange Priority Customer Rebate Program (the “Program”) beyond the current expiration date of December 31, 2013.  The MIAX Options Fee Schedule for January 1, 2014 is posted on the MIAX website at http://www.miaxoptions.com/content/fees.

Börse Berlin – 2013 With Steady Turnover Development - Börse Berlin Completes 2013 Nearly Unchanged With A Total Turnover Of 48.5 Billion Euro (2012: 48.3 Billion Euro). The Number Of Trades Has Declined To 6.3 Million.

2013 draws to a close with a mixed balance. Whilst turnover showed a slight increase of 0.4% (2012: 48.3 billion euro, 2013: 48.5 billion Euro), the number of trades went down 17% from 7.6 million in 2013 to 6.3 million in 2013.

KDPW Is Granted Pre-LOU Status

According to a decision of the Regulatory Oversight Committee (ROC), the regulatory supervisory body of the global LEI system, the Central Securities Depository of Poland (KDPW) has been awarded the pre-LOU status. As a result, identifiers assigned by KDPW in order to report data to trade repositories become pre-LEIs. This also concerns identifiers (KEIs) assigned by KDPW before 27 December 2013.

Eurex: Jürg Spillmann Finishes His Active Career

Long-standing Executive Board member Jürg Spillmann (62) has decided to retire at the end of the year from the Executive Boards of the Eurex companies. Spillmann served as Deputy CEO of Eurex Zürich AG and Eurex Frankfurt AG from their launch in 1998, and of the Eurex Clearing AG.
