Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (635998-W) (Bursa Malaysia Securities) has publicly reprimanded Nakamichi Corporation Berhad (NAKA or the Company) and its former executive director, Lo Man Heng for breaches of the Bursa Malaysia Securities Main Market Listing Requirements (Main LR). In addition, Lo Man Heng was fined a total of RM1,432,000 as at 8 October 2014.

Intercontinental Exchange (NYSE: ICE), the leading global network of exchanges and clearing houses, has completed its previously announced acquisition of SuperDerivatives, a leading provider of risk management analytics, financial market data and valuation services. The acquisition closed on October 7, 2014 in an all-cash transaction of approximately $350 million.

ETFGI’s research finds ETFs and ETPs globally have gathered a record 199.0 billion US dollars in net new assets through the end of Q3 2014, surpassing the previous high of US$185.8 Bn set in the first three quarters of 2012. The Global ETF/ETP industry has 5,463 ETFs/ETPs, with 10,510 listings, assets of US$2.6 Tn, from 225 providers listed on 61 exchanges, according to preliminary data from ETFGI’s end Q3 2014 Global ETF and ETP industry insights report.

Last week, Shenzhen Component Index stood at 8072.9 points after adding 0.3%. SME Index edged up 1.3% to 5509.8 points. ChiNext Index advanced 0.8% to 1511.4 points. Total turnover for stocks and funds on SZSE was US$154.1 billion, or a 4.7% decrease from the week before.
