HKEx: Exchange Publishes Guidance Letter On Its Reverse Takeover Rules

The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the Exchange), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), today (Friday) published a guidance letter on the application of the reverse takeover rules in its Listing Rules.
Re-Appointments In The Monetary Authority Of Singapore Board Of Directors

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) announced that Mr Lim Hng Kiang, Minister for Trade and Industry, has been re-appointed to the MAS Board of Directors, as Deputy Chairman, for a further period of two years with effect from 1 June 2014.
NASDAQ OMX Orders Ortivus To Pay A Fine

The Disciplinary Committee at NASDAQ OMX Stockholm AB (the “Exchange”) has found that Ortivus AB (“Ortivus”) has contravened the NASDAQ OMX Rulebook for Issuers (the “Rulebook”) regarding disclosure rules and has therefore ordered Ortivus to pay a fine equal to twice the company’s annual fee to the Exchange.

Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) and Shenzhen Securities Information Co., Ltd. recently announced to issue SZSE Select Index (Code: 399013, Abbreviation: SZSE Select) on May 30, 2014. SZSE Select Index aims at reflecting the operation feature of the leading companies listed in Shenzhen Market, and further enriching SZSE index system. SZSE Select Index takes December 31, 2004 as the base date and 1000 points as the base value.

Japan OTC Exchange To Launch Market For TOCOM And RIM Swap Trades On June 24

The Tokyo Commodity Exchange, Inc, announced today that the Japan OTC Exchange Inc. (JOE), the joint venture with Ginga Energy Japan Pte. Ltd is now scheduled to establish Facilities Similar to Specified Commodity Markets for RIM Swap (Gasoline, Kerosene, Gas oil, Bunker A fuel oil and LSA fuel oil) and TOCOM Swap (Crude oil, Gasoline, Kerosene, Gas Oil, Chukyo-Gasoline, Chukyo-Kerosene) and start operations on June 24, 2014.
