    1. Contents of the Recommendations

    The Securities and Exchange Surveillance Commission, today, made the following recommendations to the prime minister and the commissioner of the Financial Services Agency pursuant to Article 20(1) of the Act for Establishment of the Financial Services Agency:
    (1) that an administrative monetary penalty payment order be issued in regard to misstatements on material issues by SANEI ARCHITECTURE PLANNING CO.LTD., and
    (2) that an administrative monetary penalty payment order be issued in regard to misstatements on material issues by a Large-Volume Holder of the shares of the company.
    These recommendations are based on the findings of the disclosure statements inspection of the company, whereby the following violations of laws and ordinances were identified.

    The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:NDAQ) announced today the result of the semi-annual review of the OMX Stockholm 30 Index (NASDAQ OMX Stockholm, OMXS30), which will become effective with the market open on Tuesday, July 1, 2014. 

  • SIX Launches Swiss Trade Repository

    SIX is to establish a central trade repository for derivative transactions in cooperation with Swiss banks. This will enhance the transparency and traceability of derivative transactions, in accordance with regulatory requirements, and help improve financial market stability. The Swiss Financial Market Infrastructure Act (FMIA), which is currently in consultation, represents the legal basis for the creation of a trade repository.

  • New Zealand's Financial Markets Authority Confirms Settlement With Strategic Finance Directors And Auditors

    The Financial Markets Authority (FMA) and the Receivers of Strategic Finance Limited (Strategic), John Fisk and Colin McCloy of PwC, have today announced that they have finalised a settlement with the directors and auditors of Strategic. Under the terms of the settlement the directors and auditors will pay to the Receivers of Strategic $22 million.  This will enable the Receivers to make a further distribution to investors.
