Arif Amiri has been appointed Deputy CEO of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Authority. In this role, he will oversee efforts to further solidify DIFC's position as one of the most significant and advanced financial centres in the region, and across the globe.

Last week, the Shenzhen Component Index stood at 10802.6 points after adding 1.7%.  The SME Index closed at 5565.6 points after losing 1.8%. The ChiNext Index was down 3.8% to 1536.1 points. Total turnover for stocks and funds on SZSE was US$192.6 billion, or a 21.3% decrease from the week before.
