        OCC Cleared Contract Volume Grew 4% In June - Securities Lending CCP Activity Up 15 Percent For June And 12 Percent Year-To-DateDate 01/07/2015 OCC, the world’s largest equity derivatives clearing organization, announced today that cleared contract volume in June reached 340,826,276 contracts, up 4 percent from June 2014 volume of 327,922,056 contracts. OCC’s year-to-date average daily cleared contract volume is down 6 percent from 2014 with 16,028,458 contracts in 2015.

        SEC Solicits Public Comment On Audit Committee DisclosuresDate 01/07/2015 The Securities and Exchange Commission today voted to publish a concept release seeking public comment on current audit committee disclosure requirements, focusing on the committee’s oversight of independent auditors. The Commission is interested in receiving information about the audit committee and auditor relationship and whether improvements can be made to enhance the information provided to investors about the audit committee’s responsibilities and activities.

        Federal Reserve Board Releases First Determination Of The Aggregate Consolidated Liabilities Of All Financial Companies In Accordance With Section 622 Of The Dodd-Frank ActDate 01/07/2015 The Federal Reserve Board on Wednesday released its first determination of the aggregate consolidated liabilities of all financial companies in accordance with section 622 of the Dodd-Frank Act, which prohibits any financial company from combining with another company if the resulting company's liabilities exceed 10 percent of the aggregate consolidated liabilities of all financial companies.

        SEC Charges Deloitte & Touche With Violating Auditor Independence RulesDate 01/07/2015 The Securities and Exchange Commission today charged Deloitte & Touche LLP with violating auditor independence rules when its consulting affiliate maintained a business relationship with a trustee serving on the boards and audit committees of three funds it audited. Deloitte agreed to pay more than $1 million to settle the charges.
