First Regulated Yen-Swap Trade Executed On Tradeweb ETP - Tradeweb Granted ETP Licence By Japan’s Financial Services Agency

Tradeweb Markets, the leading global marketplace for electronic fixed income, derivatives and ETF trading, announced that its new regulated marketplace for trading interest rate swaps in Japan today saw its first trade under Japan’s new mandatory trading rules. Market participants also completed a significant number of other transactions on the Tradeweb electronic trading platform (ETP). In addition to ensuring compliance with the new requirements, the Tradeweb ETP provides users with a flexible, streamlined trading workflow, combined with post-trade processing and reporting services.

Monetary Authority Of Singapore: Applications Open For The First Singapore Savings Bond Issue

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) announced today that $1.2 billion of the first Singapore Savings Bond will be available for application starting from 1 September through 25 September 2015. The bond will be issued on 1 October 2015. The public notice found on the Savings Bonds website contains the full terms of issue for this Savings Bond, including the schedule of interest rates.

The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has issued its official opinion agreeing to an emergency short selling prohibition, for a period of 30 calendar days, by the Hellenic Capital Market Commission (HCMC) under the Short Selling Regulation which replaces the prohibition that expired on Monday 31 August.
