The Securities and Exchange Commission yesterday announced that Barclays Capital Inc. and Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC have agreed to settle separate cases finding that they violated federal securities laws while operating alternative trading systems known as dark pools and Credit Suisse’s Light Pool.

Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) General Index decreased 221points during 2015, closing at 4307 points, a decrease of 4.9% compared to 2014 when the index closed at 4528 points. ADX index witnessed a continuous rise during the second and third quarters of the year 2015, reaching its highest during the third quarter of 2015 at 4834 points.

SFOA Changes Name To The International Commodities And Derivatives Association - Change To Reflect Global Membership And Focus On New Markets, Technology And Products

The Swiss Futures & Options Association (SFOA) today announced a change of name to the International Commodities and Derivatives Association (ICDA). The change has been made to support the latest requirements of the Association’s members, who include global brokers, bankers, investment fund managers, commodities trading firms, market information providers and service companies, as well as exchanges and clearing houses. From now, ICDA is also accepting individual members for the first time in its long history.
