  • Intercontinental Exchange Launches U.S. Treasury Index Family - ICE’s New Benchmark Indices Selected By BlackRock To Power Four iShares®U.S. Treasury ETFs

    Intercontinental Exchange (NYSE: ICE), a leading operator of global exchanges, clearing houses and data services, announced today that its subsidiary, Interactive Data Pricing and Reference Data, LLC (Interactive Data), will become the new benchmark index provider for four of BlackRock’s iSharesU.S. Treasury Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs): iShares 1-3 Year Treasury Bond ETF (SHY), iShares 3-7 Year Treasury Bond ETF (IEI), iShares 7-10 Year Treasury Bond ETF (IEF) and iShares 20+ Year Treasury Bond ETF (TLT). Known as the ICE U.S. Treasury Bond Index SeriesTM, the indices will be operated by Interactive Data beginning in the second quarter of 2016.

  • Evercore Hires Jim Renwick To Lead Its European Equity Capital Markets Advisory Business

    Evercore (NYSE:EVR) announced today that it is expanding its investment banking offering in London through the formation of a new dedicated European equity capital markets advisory capability.  The ECM Advisory team will be led by Jim Renwick who will join the Firm in February as a Senior Managing Director in its London office.  The team will work with Evercore's industry sector and M&A advisory teams to provide independent strategic and transactional advice to existing and new clients in Europe on the full range of equity advisory assignments, including IPOs, follow-on and equity-linked offerings, rights issues and equity private placements.  They will collaborate closely with Evercore's US Capital Markets Advisory team in relation to cross-border situations.
