EBA Publishes Final Draft Technical Standards On Cooperation And Exchange Of Information For Passporting Under PSD2

The European Banking Authority (EBA) published today its final draft Regulatory Technical Standards (RTS) specifying the framework for cooperation and exchange of information between Competent Authorities for passport notifications under the revised Payment Services Directive (PSD2). The technical standards will ensure that information about payment institutions and e-money institutions that carry out business in one or more EU Member States is exchanged consistently between the national authorities of the home and host Member States.

he European Banking Authority (EBA) published today its final Guidelines on regulatory disclosure requirements following an update of the Pillar 3 requirements by the Basel Committee in January 2015. These Guidelines represent a significant step forward in the EBA's effort of improving and enhancing the consistency and comparability of institutions' regulatory disclosures

Good morning. This is an open meeting of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on December 14, 2016 under the Government in the Sunshine Act. Today, the Commission will consider the staff’s recommendation to approve the proposed 2017 budget and accounting support fee for the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (“PCAOB”). Under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, the Commission has the authority and responsibility for overseeing the PCAOB and approving the PCAOB’s annual budget and support fee. Chairman Jim Doty, other Board members and staff of the PCAOB are here today as we consider these matters. Thank you all for joining us and for the work that you do.
