- Renaming the “Telecommunication Services” Sector (level-1) as: “Communication Services” Sector.
- Renaming the “Media” Industry Group (level-2) as: “Media & Entertainment”.
- Moving the “Media & Entertainment” industry group (level-2) from the “Consumer Discretionary” sector (level-1) into “Communication Services” sector (level-1).

Petrobras Reaches Settlement With SEC For Misleading Investors

The Securities and Exchange Commission today charged Brazilian oil-and-gas company Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. with misleading U.S. investors by filing false financial statements that concealed a massive bribery and bid-rigging scheme at the company. The U.S. Department of Justice also announced today a non-prosecution agreement with Petrobras.

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has today published a Decision Notice concerning Linear Investments Limited. Linear failed to take reasonable care to organise and control its affairs responsibly and effectively to ensure potential instances of market abuse could be detected and reported. The failure occurred from 14 January 2013 to 9 August 2015. Linear has referred the issue of penalty to the Upper Tribunal.
