According to ETFGI’s January 2018 Japan ETF and ETP industry insights report, a monthly report included in an annual paid-for research subscription service, assets invested in ETFs and ETPs listed in Japan reached a record high of US$295 billion at the end of January 2018, shattering the previous record of US$276 billion set at the end of 2017. Retail Investors In Malaysia, Singapore And Thailand To Have Wider Access To Fund Managers Across The Three Countries

The Securities Commission Malaysia, the Monetary Authority of Singapore, and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance the ASEAN Collective Investment Schemes (CIS) Framework. The Framework enables fund managers operating in one jurisdiction to offer funds constituted and approved in that jurisdiction to retail investors in the other two jurisdictions under a streamlined authorisation process.
