  • Six Largest Canadian Banks Increase Stake In CanDeal

    CanDeal, the leading institutional electronic marketplace for Canadian bond, money market, and derivatives trading, has announced an ownership restructuring under which each of Canada’s six leading banks increased its stake in the marketplace. As a result of the restructuring, which included a reduction in TMX Group's share, CanDeal's ownership group each has an equal share of the company.

  • Montreal Exchange Enters Strategic Relationship With IVADO

    Montréal Exchange (MX), Canada's derivatives exchange, today announced a joint initiative with the Montréal Institute for Data Valorization (IVADO) to explore innovative market data analysis and surveillance solutions. Under the terms of the three-year agreement, market experts from MX’s Regulatory Division (MX-R) will collaborate with IVADO data scientists and analysts to study exchange data to uncover new ways to detect and address negative marketplace behaviors.

  • ACER Reports On Methodologies To Determine Gas Transmission Revenues In The EU

    The Agency published today its “Report on the methodologies and parameters used to determine the revenues of gas Transmission System Operators (TSOs)”. At the moment there is a wide variety of systems across Europe for this purpose. The Agency invites National Regulatory Authorities for Energy (NRAs) and TSOs to follow up on the final observations in the Report.

    In the period from 22 October 2018 to, and including, 26 October 2018, Deutsche Börse AG purchased a number of 287,208 shares within the framework of its ongoing share buy-back program which had been announced by the announcement of 8 August 2018 pursuant to Art. 5 (1) lit. a) of Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 and Art. 2 (1) of Delegated Regulation (EU) No 2016/1052.
