    The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has published today a call for evidence on certain investor protection topics included in the EC mandate to ESMA on the reports to be submitted by the EC under Article 90 of MiFID II.

  • Infini Capital Management Selects TORA’s Cloud-based OEMS For Multi-Asset Pairs Trading

    TORA, provider of the industry’s most advanced cloud-based order and execution management system (OEMS), has today announced Hong Kong-based multi-strategy hedge fund Infini Capital Management Ltd has selected TORA for its Pairs Trading solution. Infini Capital chose the TORA OEMS due to its easily configurable functionality and on-the-ground support for fund trading activities. The functionality of TORA’s multi-asset, multi-region and broker-neutral pairs application was another deciding factor.

  • EGX Meets ESTA Board To Discuss Capital Market Developments

    Mohamed Farid Saleh, EGX Chairman, held a meeting with The Egyptian Society of Technical Analysts (ESTA) Board.  This came after the distribution of certificates ceremony for the graduating batch of CETA diploma (equivalent to CFTe certification).  This comes as part of EGX’s efforts to communicate with market participants to raise the efficiency of the Egyptian capital market. 

  • ETFGI Reports Assets Invested In The US ETFs And ETPs Industry Reached A New High Of US$3.96 Trillion At The End Of June 2019

    ETFGI, a leading independent research and consultancy firm covering trends in the global ETF/ETP ecosystem, reported today that ETFs and ETPs listed in US gathered net inflows of US$48.62 billion in June, bringing year-to-date net inflows to US$115.86 billion. Assets invested in the US ETF/ETP industry have increased by 6.4%, from US$3.72 trillion at the end of May, to a new high of US$3.96 trillion at the end of June, according to ETFGI's June 2019 US ETF and ETP industry landscape insights report, an annual paid-for research subscription service.
