EBA Publishes Final Guidance Regarding The Exposures To Be Associated With High Risk

The European Banking Authority (EBA) published today its final Guidelines regarding the types of exposures to be associated with high risk under the Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR). Through these Guidelines, the EBA aims not only to enable a higher degree of comparability in terms of current practices in identifying exposures associated with high risk, but also to facilitate the transition to the upcoming regulatory revisions, noting that the forthcoming implementation of the revised Basel standards will only apply as of 2022.

Basel Committee Completes Review Of Principles For Sound Liquidity Risk Management And Supervision

The Basel Committee on Banking Supervision has completed a review of its 2008 Principles for sound liquidity risk management and supervision. - Cash-settled molybdenum contract replacing the LME’s existing physically settled offering, and introduction of a complementary cash-settled cobalt contract
- Shortlisted index providers for LME Lithium contract have presented their proposals, and a final decision will be made by the LME in the coming months

In June 2018, Eurex introduced Eurex EnLight, the Request for Quote ("RfQ") service for the Swiss equity & index options segment. More than 250 requests have since been sent with a conversion rate of 50 percent. Overall, 125 deals have been agreed upon.
