    In February 2020, SEF ENERGI A/S (Svendborg) has been admitted for trading in futures and options on the EEX power derivatives markets. Litasco SA has been admitted to trading in natural gas spot contracts CEGH and natural gas CEGH Futures. Ineos Energy Trading Limited has been admitted for trading in natural gas spot contracts (GPL-H/NCG-H). MFT Energy A/S has been admitted to exchange trading on spot gas market (ETF / GRTgaz PEGNord) and derivatives gas market (ETF / PEG).

    The European Commission’s Technical Expert Group on Sustainable Finance (TEG) has today published its final reports containing its recommendations to the European Commission, setting the foundations for the EU Taxonomy.  The EU Taxonomy is a classification tool that lists economic activities and performance criteria consistent with Europe’s commitment to reducing carbon emissions to net zero by 2050 and building resilience to climate change.

    The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has published its 2020 Supervision Work Programme, detailing the areas of focus for its supervision of Credit Rating Agencies (CRAs), Trade Repositories (TRs) and the monitoring of third-country Central Clearing Counterparties (TC-CCPs) and Central Securities Depositories (TC-CSDs). ESMA is also preparing for its new supervisory responsibilities under the Securities Financing Transactions Regulation (SFTR), the Securitisation Regulation (SECR), the Benchmarks Regulation and MiFIR.

     

      

  • SET Market Report For February 2020

    The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) Index ended February at 1,340.52 points, falling 11.5 percent from the previous month, while the average daily trading value of SET and Market for Alternative Investment (mai) in February rose 23.8 percent from the 2019 average to THB 65.86 billion (approx. USD 2.09 billion). Foreign investors sold a net THB 19.40 billion worth of Thai shares, trending in the same direction with most ASEAN markets.v
