• Increase of the value of trade in equities on the Electronic Order Book[1] on the GPW Main Market by 13.1% YoY to PLN 17.3 billion in February 2020
• Increase of the value of trade in equities on the Electronic Order Book on NewConnect by 212.2% YoY to PLN 364.3 million in February 2020
• Increase of the volume of trade in index futures by 44.8% YoY to 405.6 thousand contracts in February 2020
• Increase of the volume of trade in single-stock futures by 98.4% YoY to 185.2 thousand contracts in February 2020
• Increase of the value of trade in structured products by 184.5% YoY to PLN 233.9 million in February 2020
• Increase of the value of trade in ETFs by 263.9% YoY to PLN 46.1 million in February 2020
• Increase of the value of non-Treasury bonds listed on Catalyst by 9.5% to PLN 94.8 billion in February 2020
• Increase of the total volume of trade in electricity by 41.1% to 23.2 TWh in February 2020
• Increase of the total volume of trade in gas by 116.0% YoY to 14.0 TWh in February 2020

UK GDP growth was volatile over 2019, largely reflecting the short-term effects of negotiations with the EU. GDP growth was boosted in Q1 by companies building up stocks in order to mitigate the effects of a possible disruptive EU exit on 29 March. For the same reason, some auto firms brought forward their usual summer shutdowns to April. The resulting decline in production weighed on output in Q2, as did the unwind of the effect from stockbuilding. Growth in Q3 was boosted by a rebound in car production, and a small amount of stockbuilding ahead of the October Brexit deadline.
