Nadex Temporarily Amends Binary Contracts Strike Width

Pursuant to Section 5c(c)(1) of the Commodity Exchange Act, as amended (“Act”), and Section 40.6(d) of the regulations promulgated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (the “Commission”) under the Act (the “Regulations”), North American Derivatives Exchange, Inc. (“Nadex”, the “Exchange”) hereby provides notice that due to increased or decreased volatility, as the case may be, in the underlying markets upon which the Nadex contracts are based, Nadex made changes to the strike widths of various contracts during the week of July 18, 2022 as indicated in the Weekly Notice.

EBA Analyses The Use Of Specific Exemptions Included In The Large Exposures Regime

The European Banking Authority (EBA) published today a Report on the use of some exemptions included in the large exposures regime. The Report analyses banks’ use of the various exemptions from different perspectives and quantifies the impact of a potential removal of individual exemptions. Overall, the Report shows that some of the assessed exemptions are widely used across the EU and their removal would have a material impact while other exemptions are widely used across the EU but their removal would not have material impact. In addition, some exemptions are relevant only for some countries or appear to be rarely used.

ESMA: Open Hearing On Consultation On The Review Of The MiFID II Product Governance Guidelines

The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), the EU’s securities markets regulator, will hold an open hearing for its Consultation Paper on the review of the Guidelines on MiFID II product governance requirements. ESMA will consider the feedback provided through the open hearing into the final report and the final guidelines.
