Shanghai Stock Exchange Publishes Guidelines For Application Of 5th Set Of Listing Standards On Medical Device Companies On STAR Market

The Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) published and implemented on June 10 the Guidelines of Shanghai Stock Exchange for the Application of the Rules for Issuance and Listing Review on the STAR Market No. 7 - Medical Device Companies under the Fifth Set of Listing Standards (hereinafter referred to as the Guidelines), intended to further support the high-level self-reliance and self-improvement in science and technology, and encourage medical device enterprises to carry out research, development and innovation in key and core technologies and products.

UK Financial Conduct Authority Fines Guarantor Lender TFS Loans Ltd (In Administration) And Requires It To Provide Redress To Affected Guarantors

TFS Loans Ltd (in administration) has been fined £811,900 by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in relation to deficient affordability checks on 3,150 guarantors in its consumer credit business. The FCA has also imposed a requirement on TFS to redress the guarantors that were harmed by the firm not conducting appropriate checks.

Bursa Malaysia Berhad (“Bursa Malaysia” or the “Exchange”) today launched the second (“Guidebook 2”) in a series of 5 guidebooks of the PLC Transformation Programme, entitled “Sustainable, Socially Responsible and Ethical PLCs”. At the launch event, the Exchange shared highlights from the Guidebook 2, which emphasises the need for PLCs to develop a well-defined ESG approach including putting in place better governance, more effective management of environmental and social performance through embedding robust ESG practices across key functions of the organisation. The event also featured an interactive panel showcasing two leading companies from different industries sharing their organisations’ ESG aspirations and journey.
