Borsa Istanbul : “OIC/COMCEC International Investment Fund” Panel Has Been Held

Within the scope of the 38th Ministerial Session of COMCEC, a panel on the “OIC/COMCEC International Investment Fund”, which was established on November 29th, 2022 in order to strengthen the capital markets of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) was held. In the panel, an overview of OIC capital markets, the importance and challenges of OIC capital markets, digitalization and digital assets, the investment criteria of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), as well as challenges faced and solutions provided during the establishment of the Fund, the investment opportunities it offers, its sustainability, how it can contribute to the OIC capital markets were discussed. OIC national delegations, OIC financial institutions, investors, relevant experts and academics participated in the panel.

On November 28, SZSE and its wholly-owned subsidiary Shenzhen Securities Information Co., Ltd. (SSIC) released an announcement saying that according to the index methodology, after taking into full account of factors such as the market capitalization representativeness, securities liquidity and operation compliance of SZSE-listed companies, SZSE and SSIC will adjust the constituent sample stocks of Shenzhen Component Index, ChiNext Index and Shenzhen 100 Index (collectively referred to as the “1+2” core indexes or core indexes) regularly. The adjustment will be officially made on 12 December 2022.
