This was down 3.6% from the previous month but up 35.5% from the same month of the previous year. Compared to November 2022, trading was down in every sector except for non- FRA trading.

Thank you, Ben, and thank you to the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) for inviting me to be part of this discussion. It has been close to a year since the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) began tightening monetary policy. We began raising interest rates in March 2022 and shrinking our securities holdings in June in order to bring inflation down to our 2 percent target. Today I thought I would spend a few minutes taking stock of the year behind us and talking about what's next.

ETFGI Reports Actively Managed ETFs Listed Globally Gathered Net Inflows Of US13.40 Billion During December 2022

ETFGI, a leading independent research and consultancy firm covering trends in the global ETF/ETP ecosystem, reported today that actively managed ETFs listed globally gathered net inflows of US$13.40 billion during December, bringing year-to-date net inflows to US$122.64 billion. Assets invested in actively managed ETFs decreased by 0.5%, from US$490 billion at the end of November 2022 to US$488 billion, according to ETFGI's December 2022 Active ETF and ETP industry landscape insights report, an annual paid-for research subscription service.
