The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong announces that on March 31 and June 4, 1999, the Disciplinary Committee heard the cases of the Member, B.N.P. Securities (Hong Kong) Limited (the Company), its Dealing Director, Mr Muzika, Yann Alexandre F. (Mr Muzika), and its Authorised Clerk, Mr Chu Leung Ching, Gary (Mr Chu). The Disciplinary Committee found a charge against each of the Company, Mr Muzika and Mr Chu for breach of the Rules of the Exchange proved.

Nymex To Move Aluminum Trading To Copper Ring

The New York Mercantile Exchange announced today that aluminum futures trading will be relocated to the copper ring as of Monday, January 31, 2000. Exchange President R. Patrick Thompson said, "This move will provide the aluminum market with experienced base metals traders who will, hopefully, enhance the liquidity in this new contract."

NASD Board Approves Limit Order Pilot Protection Program For the OTC Bulletin Board

The National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc. (NASD®), today announced that its Board has approved a pilot program that will provide protection to investors who place limit orders for some OTC Bulletin Board® (OTCBB) securities. If approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the program will require Market Makers in a select group of OTCBB securities to execute customer limit orders before trading for their own accounts.
