OM Stockholm Exchange Extends Trading Hours To 20.00 CET

Today the OM Stockholm Exchange extends the ordinary trading day by 2½ hours to 20.00 (CET). The extension comprises all equities and Swedish stock derivatives. The ordinary trading hours are now 09.30 to 20.00 all days, except holidays and days preceding holidays.

Following its regular monthly procedures established last month, Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME) will settle its domestic stock indexes to "fair value" on the last day of trading in the month, Wednesday, Feb. 28.

Two New Trading Participants On The EEX Spot Market - First Dutch Participant

The European Energy Exchange (EEX) has admitted two new participants for electricity trading on its spot market, as the company reported on Friday. Energy supplier Remu N.V. is the first Dutch participant to engage in electricity trading at EEX. EEX also admitted the Austrian energy trader e&t to the spot market.
