Pacific Exchange To Trade S&P Funds

The Pacific Exchange (PCX) announced today that it has expanded its licensing agreement with Standard & Poor's (S&P), and will begin trading options on three additional S&P exchange-traded funds on January 2, 2003.

Oslo Børs: New Threshold Of 5% For Disclosure Of Acquisitions Of Large Shareholdings From 1 January 2003

The Ministry of Finance resolved on Wednesday 18 December 2002 to introduce, with effect from 1 January 2003, a new threshold of 5% for the disclosure of acquisitions of large shareholdings and rights to shares. This was accompanied by the approval of a new regulation that introduces certain exemptions from the rules on disclosure of acquisitions for investment firms. These new provisions on disclosure also apply to primary capital certificates.

NYMEX To Postpone Listing Additional Gasoline Months

The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., announced today that it will postpone listing additional months of trading in its unleaded gasoline futures contract, beginning with the January 2004 contract, originally scheduled for listing on January 2, due to changes in state and federal gasoline requirements beginning in 2004.

Lehman Brothers International (Europe) - New Member Of The Copenhagen Stock Exchanges

" That Lehman Brothers has chosen to become a member of both the Copenhagen Stock Exchange and Oslo Børs confirms how important the NOREX Alliance is for an international development of the stock exchanges in the Nordic region. The market shares by foreign members on the Danish equity market have this year gone from 8 per cent to 17 per cent, which is a clear indication that foreign investors are becoming more interested in Danish shares," said President and CEO Hans-Ole Jochumsen.

Iceland Stock Exchange - Closing dates Of Trading And News Systems

Iceland Stock Exchange (ICEX) reminds market participants that the trading system is closed for trading on Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve and 2 January. Accordingly, the ICEX news system will be closed and no announcements from issuers will be published these particular days. The first announcements in 2003 will be published on 3 January, the first trading day of the year.

Evening trading at Helsinki Exchanges will be shortened by half an hour on 1 April, 2003, from which date evening trading will end at 7.30 pm. Otherwise trading hours will remain unchanged.
