The Philadelphia Stock Exchange To Begin Trading Options On iShares Lehman US Treasury Exchange Traded Funds “ Trading To Begin On Friday, April 15”

The Philadelphia Stock Exchange (PHLX) announced today that it will begin trading options on iShares Lehman US Treasury Exchange Traded Funds (TLT, IEF, SHY, AGG and TIP) on Friday, April 15. Options on TLT, IEF, and SHY, AGG and TIP will trade on PHLX XL, the Exchange’s electronic trading platform, along with 1,650 other equity options.

Stockholm And Helsinki Stock Exchanges Donate Disciplinary Fines To New Foundation

The boards of directors of the Stockholm Stock Exchange and the Helsinki Stock Exchange have decided to donate all disciplinary fines imposed by the exchanges' disciplinary committees to a foundation newly established by OMX Exchanges for the purpose of conducting research involving securities markets in Finland and Sweden.

Stephen M. Cutler, Director of the Securities and Exchange Commission's Division of Enforcement, announced today that he intends to leave the Commission in a month's time. Mr. Cutler, 43, said he plans to return to the private sector. He was named Enforcement Director in October 2001.
