  • Stockholm Stock Exchange’s Disciplinary Committee Warns J.P. Morgan And Lehman Brothers

    J.P. Morgan Securities Ltd and Lehman Brothers International (Europe) have both breached the rules that state that a party who acquires 5% or more of the shares in a listed company must disclose the acquisition. Each of the two companies has acquired more than 5% of the shares in Song Network Holding AB without openly disclosing the acquisitions. Accordingly, Stockholm Stock Exchange’s Disciplinary Committee has decided to warn both companies.

  • Standard & Poor’s Announces Change To U.S. Index

    Ditech Communications (NASD:DITC) will replace DuPont Photomasks (NASD:DPMI) in the S&P SmallCap 600 after the close of trading on a date to be announced. S&P Global 1200 constituent Toppan Printing Co. is acquiring DuPont Photomasks in a deal that is still pending regulatory and shareholder approvals.

  • Nymex Sets Record For Overnight Trading

    The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., today announced that a record 70,630 contracts were traded on the NYMEX ACCESS® electronic trading platform last night, surpassing the previous record of 60,790 contracts set during an abbreviated two-hour special daytime session held on September 14, 2001, the first time the markets opened after the September 11 World Trade Center attack.
