SWX Swiss Exchange Issues Reprimand Against Synthes Inc.

The SWX Swiss Exchange has pronounced a reprimand with related publication against Synthes Inc., Delaware USA, for violation of the provisions of US GAAP as well as those of the Listing Rules. The SWX reprimand pertains to the company’s incomplete segment reporting and its failure to produce a cash flow statement and a statement of changes in shareholders’ equity.

SWX Indices: Adjustments To The Equity Indices On 2 October 2006

STOXX Announces Changes To Its Blue-Chip And Style Indexes - Regular Annual And Semi-Annual Review To Be Effective On September 18, 2006

STOXX Ltd. today announced the results of the regular annual review of the Dow Jones STOXX 50, Dow Jones EURO STOXX 50, Dow Jones STOXX NORDIC 30 and Dow Jones STOXX EU Enlarged 15 blue-chip indexes as well as the results of the semi-annual review of its style indexes. The changes will be effective on September 18, 2006.

Share Change For Transurban Group In The S&P/ASX 50 Index

Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P/ASX 50 Index effective after the close of trading on Wednesday, September 6, 2006: Transurban Group (Australia, SEDOL: 6200882, GICS Code: 20305020), a member of the S&P/ASX 50 Index, will increase its shares to 821,505,420. This change is the result of a distribution-reinvestment plan.
