  • Investable Weight Factor Change For Tiscali SPA In The S&P/MIB Index

    Standard & Poor’s will change the IWF (Investable Weight Factor) for Tiscali SPA (Italy, ISIN IT0001453924), a member of the S&P/MIB Index, from 0.54 to 0.609 effective at the close of trading Tuesday, January 04 2005. This is following the sale of ordinary shares by the Sandoz Family Foundation, which has reduced its holding to 9.204 percent of shares outstanding.

    The Brazilian Mercantile & Futures Exchange (BM&F) announced on December 16th the launching of two new products indexed to IPCA – Índice Nacional de Preços ao Consumidor Amplo (Extended Consumer Price Index): IPCA Futures Contract and the ID x IPCA Spread Futures Contract. According to BM&F’s Chairman, Mr. Manoel Felix Cintra Neto, the new contracts begin trading February of 2005.
