The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) announced today its creation of the CBOE Exchange Index, a new benchmark index based on the stock prices of publicly traded exchanges. CBOE plans to begin disseminating the new index on Monday, January 30, 2006, under the symbol "EXQ."
