    Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited (HKFE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited, has set margin rates for futures contracts on the Bank of Communications Co Ltd, China Netcom Group Corporation (Hong Kong) Ltd and Ping An Insurance (Group) Co of China Ltd, which will be introduced on Monday, 7 November 2005.

    Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P ADR Indices effective after the close of trading on Friday, November 4, 2005: Precision Drilling (US) (Canada, NYSE: PDS, CUSIP: 74022D100, Sedol: 2107619) will be excluded from the S&P ADR Index. The shareholders recently approved the proposed conversion of the company into an income trust.
