    The Not From Concentrate (“NFC”) orange juice futures contract will begin trading at the New York Board of Trade (NYBOT?) Friday, October 20, with the Options contract trading starting the following Monday, October 23. The first futures month to be traded will be the January 2007 contract, and the first options month will be the regular option on the January 2007 futures contract.

    The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) said today that the growth of volume in its Quarterly options continues to increase, with average daily volume of 38,966 contracts during September. CBOE launched Quarterly options for the first time on July 10th, to provide customers with options with expiration dates that coincide with end-of-quarter accounting practices. CBOE's marketshare in Quarterly options since their debut in July stands at 54.3%. <
