FFastFill Senior Management Appointment

Hamish Purdey has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer of London-based FFastFill plc, the derivatives industry’s leading application services provider. In his new role, effective immediately, Purdey will be responsible for all customer-facing activities including global sales and service delivery. He will be based in London and continue to report to Keith Todd, Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

Eurex Lists Two New French Equity Options - New Options On French Equities Pernod-Ricard And Publicis Tradeable From April 3

Eurex, the world's largest derivatives exchange, listed two new options on French equities Pernod-Ricard and Publicis on April 3. This move brings the total number of equity options on French blue-chip companies offered by Eurex to 38. Contracts for the new product comprise 100 shares, and have a maximum maturity of 60 months.

Trading volume on all German stock exchanges rose significantly in March 2006. Order book statistics, which are based on single counting of all transactions in the order book of Xetra and broker-supported trading on the floor, show that the German stock exchanges generated an equities turnover of €164,9 billion in March – some 70 percent more year-on-year (March 2005: €96.8 billion). DBS, The Largest Bank In Singapore, Receives Licence To Operate At The DIFC

DBS Bank, the largest bank in Singapore and fifth largest banking group in Hong Kong, announced today that it received approval from the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) to open its first branch in the Middle East at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). It is among the first few Asia-based banks, and the first Singapore-based bank to receive a banking licence in Dubai.
