Modification Of Athens Exchange Trading Hours

The Athens Exchange (ATHEX) announces its decision to modify its trading hours for 24th December 2007 and 31st December 2007 in accordance with the respective trading hours of other European stock exchanges for harmonization reasons. In particular, the end of transactions on both the aforementioned days will take place 2 hours earlier than regular, ie at 15.00 instead of 17.00.

Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Thursday, December 20, 2007: ARISE Technologies Corporation (TSXVN:APV) will be removed from the index.
