Tokyo Stock Exchange: Schedule For Transfer Of Handling Of Foreign Stocks, Etc., To The Japan Securities Depository Center

As announced in TSE news on March 15 2006, TSE has made a partial revision to such regulations as listing standards for stocks with the commencement of handling of foreign stocks, etc., by the Japan Securities Depository Center (JASDEC). The revised regulations are applied sequentially to issues that are to be handled by JASDEC.

NYBOT Announces Amendments To Its FCOJ And NFC Daily Trading Limit Rules And Licensing Rules

The New York Board of Trade® (NYBOT®) announced today amendments to its Frozen Concentrated Orange Juice (FCOJ) and Not From Concentrate (NFC) daily trading limit rules and also licensing rules: Pending CFTC approval, effective with the start of trading on January 2, 2007, the Exchange is implementing amendments to its FCOJ Rules and NFC Rules. The amendments provide that all futures contract months for FCOJ and/or NFC shall have an expandable 10 cent per pound daily trading limit

NYSE-Euronext Merger Gets Support Of Securities Industry And Financial Markets Association

The Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) today congratulated the NYSE and Euronext on their recent, successful votes in favor of a merger. Euronext’s shareholders approved the measure Tuesday. Shareholders of the NYSE voted in favor of the merger today.

NYBOT Announces Change To Sugar Options Last Trading Day Rules And Addition Of Dubai As Settlement Port

The New York Board of Trade® (NYBOT®) announced today that starting with the first options contract that has the March 2009 futures as its underlying (which is the November 2008 Sugar No. 11 Options contract), an amendment to its Sugar Rules will be implemented. American Stock Exchange Reports Increase In Short Interest

The American Stock Exchange (Amex) member and non-member organizations today reported short interest of 781,726,447 shares as of the December 15, 2006 settlement date, an increase of 29,736,795 from the 751,989,652 (adjusted) shares reported in mid-November. The December figure represents trades through December 12, 2006.

Standard & Poor's Announces The S&P/TSX Canadian Bond Index Rebalancing Report for December 2006

Standard & Poor's has completed the monthly rebalancing of the S&P/TSX Canadian Bond Index. According to index methodology, the universe of Canadian bonds is exhaustively reviewed to reflect changes in par amount and term to existing index constituents.
