Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P Japan SmallCap 250 and S&P Japan 500 Indices effective after the close of trading Tuesday, January 13, 2009: Fuji Fire & Marine Insurance (Japan, SEDOL: 6356387, GICS: Financials, GICS Code: 40301040) a member of the S&P Japan SmallCap 250 and S&P Japan 500 indices, shares will increase by 71,000,000 to 542,973,000 and its IWF will be updated to 0.3632 due to the private placement.

ICE Futures Europe Achieves Daily Record Gas Oil Futures Volume

IntercontinentalExchange (NYSE: ICE), a leading operator of regulated global exchanges and over-the-counter markets, announced ICE Futures Europe(R) yesterday set a new daily volume record in the ICE Gas Oil futures contract. On Tuesday, January 6, ICE Gas Oil futures volume reached 228,400 contracts, surpassing by 14% the previous record of 200,908 contracts established February 13, 2008.
