Multi Commodity Exchange Of India Weekly Market Report – October 20-26, 2006 - MCX Agrindex Closes At 1,666.95 - Up 46.37 Points
The MCX COMDEX closed at 2,150.91 up 28.60 points during the course of the week; while the MCX Agri Index closed at 1,666.95 up 46.37 points; MCX Energy Index closed at 2,295.10 up 44.28 points and MCX Metal Index closed at 2,490.69 down 2.12 points. The Exchange has recorded a total weekly turnover of Rs. 35,209.74 crore for the period October 20-26, 2006.

McLaughlin, Piven and Vogel Securities Agrees To Repay Customers Overcharged For Transferring Accounts - NASD Fines Firm $50,000, Orders Compliance Review By Independent Consultant
NASD today announced that McLaughlin, Piven and Vogel Securities, Inc. (MPV) of New York has agreed to pay restitution to customers who were charged excessive and unreasonable fees in connection with the transfer of their brokerage accounts to other broker-dealers through the Automated Customer Account Transfer System (ACATS). NASD has identified more than 1,500 customers who were overcharged.

SEC, NASAA Announce Continuation Of IARD System Fee Waiver
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA) today announced they will continue to waive for two years the annual system fees paid by investment adviser firms to maintain the Investment Adviser Registration Depository (IARD) system.
