Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) today announced the successful launch of the first phase of its new trading engine, powered by Atos Euronext of France. The new platform provides rich functionality, flexibility and capacity to manage large transaction volumes.
NSX Releases November ETF/ETN Data Report

National Stock Exchange, Inc. (NSX(R)) today announced that U.S. listed Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) and Exchange-Traded Note (ETN) assets totaled $487.6 billion at the end of November 2008, a decrease of 16.8% from November 2007 month-end assets of $585.8 billion. Net cash inflows for the month of November 2008 were $26.4 billion, bringing the total net cash flow for calendar year 2008 to $136.8 billion.

CBOE To List Options On Two New Metals ETF Products: iShares Comex Gold Trust & iShares Silver Trust

Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) today announced that beginning Monday, Dec. 8, the Exchange will list options on two new precious metals exchange-traded funds (ETFs) - iShares COMEX Gold Trust and iShares Silver Trust (CBOE ticker symbols: IAU and SLV, respectively). The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved CBOE's filing late on Thursday.

Dalian Commodity Exchange's LLDPE Contract Hits A New High Again

Since mid-November, along with major fluctuations of international crude oil prices, DCE LLDPE futures also performed magnificent market fluctuations, and the volume hit new highs repeatedly. On 2 December, LLDPE turnover volume broke through 1.1million contracts, and reached 1?119?094 contracts, with an open interest of nearly 100 thousand contracts, becoming the largest trading product on that day in DCE.
Shanghai Stock Exchange Screens All Business Rules

The Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) recently screened all the effective standardization documents issued by the exchange from its establishment till October 2008. 338 business rules were eventually confirmed as existing and effective, while the list of 82 abolished ones announced. In 2004, the SSE published a book after its checkup on all the business rules issued by the end of 2003.
