  • CME Group Announces the Launch of Clearing Services for New Petroleum Swap Futures

    CME Group, the world's largest and most diverse derivatives exchange, today announced the launch of clearing services for five new petroleum swap futures contracts, scheduled to launch on May 17 for trade date May 18. Clearing services will be available through CME ClearPort(R), a set of flexible clearing services open to over the counter (OTC) market participants to substantially mitigate counterparty risk and provide capital efficiencies across asset classes.     The Securities and Exchange Commission has charged West Palm Beach, Fla.-based INTECH Investment Management LLC and its former chief operating officer David E. Hurley for violating the SEC's proxy voting rule for investment advisers by not sufficiently describing its proxy voting policies and procedures and failing to address a material potential conflict of interest.
